Tomorrow is the day again when we either a) complain about the fact that we don’t have a lover or b) complain about the fact that society dictates us to show that love through mindless commercialism.
If you do like commercialism or just manage to keep your cynicism to yourself (please teach us how?), we have some cool (last minute) tips to either impress the one that’s already yours or to maybe persuade that one cutie at that party into preferring going out with you over sitting on the couch with a tub of ice cream and a Netflix original.
The normal valentines cards are way cliché and predictable. Red is so not the new black. So why not impress your valentine with a funny card which shows both your love and your pop culture knowledge!
Is your valentine more into internet culture? Don’t fret! Valentines memes still exist! Some will always remain funny (Help, I’ve fallen for you and I can’t get up!). The best thing about these cards is that you can just print them! No last minute rushing to the store and standing in line!
Well, at this point in time we can conclude that all the best restaurants in the city are probably already booked… But don’t worry! Tell your date that going for dinner is too cliché anyway, and you have something else planned. You didn’t, but don’t worry, you do now! Gather some pillows and blankets and place candles all over your room and take-out has never been this romantic before!
Good luck on pretending you were totally prepared for Valentine’s day this year! Our tips do not have your success guaranteed!
