You’ve been invited to a Christmas party of some good friends of yours. You’re running late, checking if you have your wallet, keys, you lock the door and… Oh no. You completely forgot to buy a present for your hosts. What do you do now? You can’t show up without a present, it wouldn’t be polite. But you don’t have much of a choice, you have to be there in an hour. What to do, what to do….
Don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Here’s a list of five items you can quickly grab that make for a fantastic Christmas present
Chocolate is always a good idea. And I mean always. Everyone loves it – unless you are lactose intolerant or vegan, for which there is also a wide variety of cocoa products available. So go to the supermarket, grab a box of bonbons or a fancy Lindt chocolate and you are good to go!
- Beauty gift set
You know the one – the bags that contain a set of body wash, sponge and shampoo. Or any other combination, really, as long as it has the same concept. You can find these pretty much in every supermarket/convenience store, especially as the holiday draws closer.
Go to H&M or Zara. Pick up a huge warm scarf. You’re set. It really doesn’t get much easier than that.
- A gift card
This one is a bit tricky. You need to have a clue about what kind of things the person you are giving your gift to likes. It can be an H&M gift card if he/she likes to shop, Spotify premium or iTunes voucher if he/she likes music or a paid Netflix subsription for a certain period of time if he can’t stop watching Narcos or Orange is The New Black.
Or any other alcohol. Although we highly doubt anyone will turn down a good old bottle of wine – it fits every occasion. A bottle of whiskey or vodka is also a nice choice.
