It’s beginning to taste a lot like Christmas

After no shave November, it’s time for no shape December!

As Christmas keeps getting closer and closer, all we can think about is the smell of freshly baked gingerbread cookies. Just imagine sipping hot cocoa by the fire, listening to Christmas songs and enjoying your favorite holiday food. Sounds good, doesn’t it? But what if you have no idea how to make these beloved delicacies yourself? Don’t worry – we got you covered! At BREWED we love nothing more than something yummy and easy to make, so here are our favorite Christmas recipes. Just in time for the holidays!


Gingerbread cookies

You need:

1 cup softened butter

1 cup brown sugar

2/3 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup molasses sugar

1 egg

2 ½ cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. ground ginger

2 tsp. ground cloves

1 ½ tsp. nutmeg



Place the soft butter and the brown sugar in a bowl. Mix them up with an electric mixer, until achieving a nice, fluffy cream. Afterwards, add in the egg and molasses, and give it a stir. Add all of the remaining ingredients and mix them well, until you have a homogenous batter. Heat up the oven to 180 degrees, lay a piece of baking paper on a tray. Take a dough cutter in the shape of a gingerbread man, and start cutting your lovely little cookies. After you’re finished, sprinkle some of the granulated sugar on top of your gingerbread buddies, and put them in the oven. Bake them for around 10 minutes, and let them cool down a bit afterwards. They taste so good, and the best part is that your kitchen will smell amazing for hours after you’re done baking. Gingerbread cookies are a classic treat for the holidays, beloved by people all over the world. Enjoy!



M&M’s Christmas trees

You need:

1 ½ cups flour

½ cup softened butter

1 egg

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup red and green M&M candies

1 cup white vanilla baking chips


How to prepare:

Pre-heat the oven to 170 degrees. Spray a medium sized baking tray with baking spray. In a bowl mix the flour, butter, egg and sugar with a wooden spoon, until you get a soft dough. Add in half of the candy and the baking chips, and mix everything together. With a dough cutter, make small Christmas trees out of the mixture, and sprinkle them with the rest of the M&M candy. Bake them for around 20 minutes, and let them cool on a cooling rack for about an hour. These funny Christmas trees taste amazing, and have the perfect yummy decoration for an extra dose of holiday spirit.


White hot chocolate with a hit of minty freshness

You need:

4 cups of milk

200 gr white chocolate chips

2 tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp peppermint extract

Whipped cream (optional)

Sprinkles (optional)


Pour the milk in a pot and warm it up on the stove. When it starts to boil, add in the chocolate chips and stir thoroughly until all of the chocolate has melted. Add the vanilla and peppermint drops, and stir again. Take it off the stove and pour it into your favorite Christmas mug. Add some whipped cream and decorate it with sprinkles, just to give it a more festive look. This hot chocolate drink warms you up on the inside, while satisfying your sweet tooth and giving your taste buds a delightful experience. Drink up!
